The Delhiites Polo team celebrated its victory in the centenary General Sparrow Polo Cup in style at the newly revamped bar, Aura at The Claridges, New Delhi. With champagne flowing, a live jazz band, DJ, stellar dance performances and LED effects it truly was an unforgettable experience for one and all!
The night which went on till the wee hours saw some of the biggest names in the polo fraternity in attendance along with hon’ble Member of Parliament, Manoj Tiwari. The Delhiites polo team lead by polo legend Angad Kalaan, accompanied by his fellow team members Gaurav Sahgal and Akshai Malik were felicitated followed by cake cutting.
Jai Shergill, who hosts the tournament as an ode to his grandfather was also seen applauding the team for their exceptional performance, he was joined by Rajesh Sahgal, Vice President of the Indian Polo Association along with Sagar Sondhi and Deepak Sondhi, patrons of the team.
The snazzy night saw Delhi’s crème de la crème in attendance who were served sumptuous cocktails, delectable hors d’oeuvres and witnessed hospitality beyond excellence by the team at The Claridges. The man leading from the front was Vikramaditya Singh, whose name is synonymous to raising the bar in the Indian hospitality industry.
