With a cute decor of pink and blue, they serve sweet and savoury baked goodies along with thick shakes and ice-creams. But be warned, they are always crowded and sell out some treats a few hours after they come in.

 If you are a sucker for perfection in bakery goods, head to The Nutty Bunch for fresh ingredients, extraordinary recipes and a neo-modern retro styled home bakery that will put you in the mood to try all that’s on the menu. If you’re confused after what to try first ? the Peanut Butter Cups, the Ferrero Cheesecake or the many other delicacies ? go ahead and ask the sweet lady behind the counter.

3. Pudding and Pie

On the ever busy roads of Shivalik in New Delhi, it’s hard to miss this serene little stand-alone café. Once you walk inside,  you will find yourself in a world of freshly baked breads, tea cakes and savouries. Snacks like the paneer tikka and chicken seekh hot dog, lasagne sandwich marry Indian flavours with western influences. With the idea of tapping into places having fewer bakeries, Pudding and Pie has its outlets across Delhi.

Walk intro a charming and a fashionable cake studio in Meharchand Market in a confectionery that deals with avante-garde cakes, cupcakes, cookies etc. Every piece of theirs is special using quality ingredients. The tiny shots of cake truffles (Rs 65 each) are the unsung heroes. You might think you are biting into hard chocolate but then boom! The dark chocolate coating holds a fudgy cake surprise.

5. Maison Des Desserts

Meringue based desserts are tough enough to thrive, however good they are. A gastronomic delight for the sweet lovers, a bite into the pavlova here with a dollop of cream and strawberries can take you to a different level altogether. It’s the delicate melt-in-mouth flavor that will win you over. The red velvet cake is much in demand (that’s if you can get your hands on it!)

6. Azote

Macaroons, the hard exterior and gooey interior, sums you up right now, huh? You don’t have to keep up with the harsh exterior though, eat up to your heart’s content! Azote is perfect for the most heavenly macarons, not just that they make your chosen ice cream right in front of you. A little distraction from the sobbing will only do you better!
