GILI ISLANDS

Mesmerizing white sand beaches in the lap of beautiful blue waters, the Gili Islands are strikingly beautiful trio for the island lover. They are located just off the northwest coast of Lombok and attract visitors from all over the world. The most popular amongst the couples is the Gili Meno, which is also called the honeymoon island, keeping the secluded image intact. The “Party Island”, a hit amongst the youngsters is Gili Trawangan with a crazy nightlife and a variety of hotels and restaurants options. MALTA ISLANDS

Malta Islands is the largest island amongst the three main islands of the Maltese archipelago. The capital Valletta is a lively city with some historic roots dating back to the 16th century. The city is bustling with a good mix of modern infrastructure on one hand and palaces, forts and cathedrals on the other. One of the most attractive places is the Grand Habour, which offers a dramatic entry. Also, d0 visit the UNESCO-designated Hypogeum temple ruins which is the world’s only prehistoric temple built underground. The island is a beauty in itself as you wander along the cobbled streets, beautifully overhung with enclosed wooden balconies. Must go and see the remains of the Royal Opera House, which were destroyed by a bomb explosion during the Second World War. This structure has now been transformed into an open-air theatre. If you are feeling a little adventurous, hire a Segway and ride along the Dingli cliffs and admire the views of a small yet beautiful island of Filfla.

 

SEYCHELLES

Are you dreaming of a remote island with white sand beaches, blue waters and a serene aura? Plan your next vacation to the beautiful islands of Seychelles, which is a mere cluster of about 115 islands, parked on the eastern coast of Africa. The islands are patches of giant boulders and beautiful beaches along with wildlife sightings you would not see otherwise. Mahé is the largest of them all; it is home to the Seychellois capital, Victoria, as well as known for the very popular Anse Intendance beach. Another island is Praslin, the second largest of the primary islands, which is known for its breathtaking shorelines and not to forget the Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve. The next most popular yet the most quiet of all islands would be La Digue, an island where you will only see people on bicycles.
