INGREDIENTS
- Crushed pepper – 1 tea spoon
- Coriander powder – 2 teaspoons
- Cloves – 3 numbers
- 1 Litre chicken /vegetablestock
- Cinnamon stick – 2 numbers
- Chicken – 500 grams
- Cardamom – 2 numbers
- Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin powder – 1 teaspoon
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Red chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
- Onion (chopped) – 1 large
- Oil – 2 tablespoons
- Mustard seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
- Green chillies – 2 numbers
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
- Fresh chopped coriander – 1 tablespoon
- Tomatoes – 4 numbers
- Salt – to taste
- Boneless chicken thigh-500 gm cut into pieces
METHOD
- Heat the oil in a large pan, add mustard, cumin, whole garam masala, then add the onions, salt saute it.
- Add turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, curry leaves, green chili and saute for a while.
- Then add tomatoes, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder mix well and cook till tomatoes get soggy and gravyish.
- To it add the chicken to the frying pan and mix well, cover and cook over low-medium heat for 10-15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- When the chicken is almost done, add the ground pepper to the mixture and mix well.
