INGREDIENTS

  • Crushed pepper – 1 tea spoon
  • Coriander powder – 2 teaspoons
  • Cloves – 3 numbers
  • 1 Litre chicken /vegetablestock
  • Cinnamon stick – 2 numbers
  • Chicken – 500 grams
  • Cardamom – 2 numbers
  • Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Red chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Onion (chopped) – 1 large
  • Oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Mustard seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green chillies – 2 numbers
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh chopped coriander – 1 tablespoon
  • Tomatoes – 4 numbers
  • Salt – to taste
  • Boneless chicken thigh-500 gm cut into pieces

 

METHOD

  1. Heat the oil in a large pan, add mustard, cumin, whole garam masala, then add the onions, salt saute it.
  2. Add turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, curry leaves, green chili and saute for a while.
  3. Then add tomatoes, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder mix well and cook till tomatoes get soggy and gravyish.
  4. To it add the chicken to the frying pan and mix well, cover and cook over low-medium heat for 10-15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. When the chicken is almost done, add the ground pepper to the mixture and mix well.
