We’re living in Unlock.5 and eating out has never felt more like a privilege than it does right now, we recently visited the gorgeous Kylin Experience in Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj where we were hosted in the warmest, most hospitable manner.
Kylin Experience is known for serving amazing Pan-Asian food but with the recent renovations, expansion into full time food delivery and its new festive gifting options, the brand is practically bursting with energy. Post-Covid, they have adopted serious safety measures in the form of temperature checks, digital menus, sanitized cutlery and furniture etc. in order to make dining out as safe and stress free as possible..
For appetizers we were served the signature Kylin Sushi in the form of Salmon roll, Avocado roll and the Prawn Tempura roll, followed by the Chicken curry dim sum, Edamame and Truffle Dim Sum, Chicken Pan Grilled Gyoza and the Teppanayaki Hot Basil Chicken.
The Sushi was as mouthwatering as always, served in a beautiful wooden boat that is not to be missed, the Teppanayaki Hot Basil Chicken was a completely delightful addition to the Chicken starters but the Dim Sums stole the show, the Chicken Dim Sum in curry was a refreshing new take on an old classic and the Edamame & Truffle Dim Sum is an indulgent cheat day treat that must not be missed.
Kylin stands out from its competition because of this one aspect, that it does not rely on a couple of specials, it is a restaurant that does everything well. The menu is not very extensive, which is probably its strength. There is nothing on the menu that you would be disappointed in and that is the cornerstone of its charm.
We would recommend Kylin for Family outings, work lunches, Date nights and IPL screenings (in the Kylin Skybar) as well as kitty parties and cocktail parties.
The ambience, the warmth, the old world hospitality fused with the reinvented classics are just a few of the reasons why we would recommend this place to you. It has the aesthetic of a fine dining restaurant but the vibe is positively bombilating with the potential for both, the best meal you have had in a long time as well as a no hold barred drink session with friends.
