Delhiites Group launched the first edition of Delhi’s first Lifestyle Awards at The Grand, Vasant Kunj.
A unique awards ceremony where renowned success stories of the most deserving personalities from various fields such as Arts and Culture, Sports, Entrepreneurs, Fashion, Food and Nightlife were felicitated and recognized for their extraordinary work.
“The Delhiites Lifestyle Awards are a first of its kind. The idea behind it was to recognize and appreciate the brilliance of people who have reached the top of their fields”, said Deepak Sondhi, Managing Director of Delhiites Group.
Delhiites Lifestyle Awards partnered by Highfield, hosted the crème de la crème of the society. Seen at the event were Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, HRH Padmanabh Singh, Soli Sorabjee, Admiral RK Dhowan, Pankaj and Charu Munjal, Meera and Muzaffar Ali, Rohit Roy, Narendra Bansal, Alpa Bansal, Ravinder Taneja, Gauri and Nainika, DJ Aqeel amongst many other valued guests.
Set up in the sprawling lawns of The Grand Hotel, was a huge food buffet, a lavish cocktail bar and a round table set up for all the valued guests. The highlighted décor element, which stole the show, was the Mercedes C 42 AMG in red, set up by T and T motors.
The CEO, Sagar Sondhi, addressed the gathering, thanking the invitees and the partners who made the show possible.
“It is a very special day for all of us I can’t be more glad that this day is here. These awards are our way of distinguishing the high flyers of Delhi and we have own unique way of doing this, said the founder.
LIVE PERFORMANCES AND ACTS….
The show started with an opening act by the Zenith Dance Group. A beautiful act by the performers led to a great start to the evening. The host for the evening was Siddharth Bhardwaj, a popular face on television. His wit and sharp sense of humor made the evening enjoyable for all present there.
The entertainment element continued with two more enthralling performances by the dance group including a contortionist act, which was immensely captivating and alluring.
Adding to the list of performances was Tanya Gupta, who captivated the attention of the audience with her beautiful voice.
The show stopper for the evening was actor Rohit Roy as he danced on his new Bollywood number,” Saara Zamana” from his latest movie, Kaabil. Another surprise act was by DJ Aqeel. For the first time, he was seen shaking a leg a popular Bollywood number. He even gave the audience some groovy Bollywood songs during the short fillers to keep them entertained.

Iconic presenters such as Sanjeev Kapoor, Bhupinder Singh (Chairman, Highfields), Pankaj Munjal, Rohit Roy, HRH Padmanabh Singh and Deepak Sondhi (Managing Director, Delhiites Magazine) felicitated the most deserving brands and personalities. Some prominent award winners were:

The event ended with the last set of awards but the celebrations didn’t seem to stop. The party continued post midnight at club HYPE. It was a good show with all the prominent celebrities and partygoers dancing their way through the night on Bollywood music and celebrating the event’s success.
