| E very now and then, a restaurant opens its doors and instantly feels as though it has always belonged. OMNY, the latest creation by celebrity chef Vicky Ratnani, is precisely that a glittering culinary addition to Gurugram that marries global flavours, heartfelt cooking, and a refreshingly unpretentious atmosphere. |
Sometimes, what you crave is the embrace of a space that feels as warm and lived-in as a good English pub, yet with the drinks menu of a first-class bar and a kitchen that sends out inventive, world-travelling plates to delight the soul.

The interiors, all rich woods and soft, sophisticated lighting, radiate an understated charm. Step outside to the leafy al fresco area and you’re instantly transported to a serene garden escape. Everywhere you look, there’s a quiet confidence — no gimmicks, just a space designed to welcome you in and keep you there.

The food itself is a joyous voyage. We began with the Duck khurchan, a playful nod to Indian street food with a refined edge and served with a chili Malabar Paratha falling apart in your hands, and the Chicken Romesco, tender and smoky under its blanket of nutty, pepper-laced Spanish sauce topped with a Burrata and served with an unusual pairing of a spicy Jalalpeno Paratha.

The Cacio e Pepe Arancini brought pure comfort crisp shells giving way to risotto studded with black pepper and silky cheese while the Avocado and Pineapple Papri Chaat turned beloved classics into sun-bright, refreshing bites.

The Crudo Salad was a showstopper, its jewel-bright caviar, ribbons of Norwegian salmon, paper-thin radishes, scallions, and pickled chillies arranged like edible art. The Just Jerk Chicken danced with Caribbean spice, while the Chicken Under a Brick emerged golden-skinned and rich with rosemary butter, flanked by irresistible triple-cooked fat chips.

Italian lovers are thoroughly indulged: the Casarecce Carbonara is a silken dream served with chunky handmade noodles, the Meat-Baked Lasagna deeply savoury and satisfyingly rustic. Then there’s the Charcoal Roast Chicken Pizza, whose smoky base is scattered with green olives, jalapeños, spicy pesto, parmesan, and buffalo mozzarella the sort of pizza that makes conversation pause for just a moment while flavours burst forth from each bite.

Desserts are a final flourish: the cloud-soft Tiramisu Baba whispers of coffee and cream, while the Mango Falooda bursts with the kind of mango flavour best enjoyed in North India during the peak summer. Each dish is made with ingredients sourced from across the globe, chosen with the kind of care that you can taste in each delicious morsel.

Cocktails here are not afterthoughts but companions to the food crafted with balance, flair, and a wink of adventure. They complete the experience in the same way the perfect punctuation completes a sentence.
