Delhi foodies cannot get enough of this gastronomical food grubbing experience.

A 3 day show which was loved and cheered by one and all, Grub Fest did leave an indelible mark on the appetite of those who are true foodies by heart.”There are 90% new outlets including some from Chandigarh as well so we can see a lot of North indian outlets here”, said Chaitanya Mathur, Co-founder, Grub Fest.

Like every year, the crowd was spellbound by the great lineup of the most loved artists including Akhil Sachdeva, Anish Sood, Indeep Bakshi, Hari and Sukhmani, Mo Jo Jo and many more.

There was not one cuisine which did not make it through the Grub Fest. From rajma chawal stalls to food trucks serving momos and Chinese were seen getting equal love from the crowd.

Most loved dessert places were Fluffles and Wafflelicious which were serving sumptuous waffles with Nutella. Another eye catching dessert stall was Pearl Boutique Bakery that showcased an extravagant display of fancy cakes and desserts. We witnessed ‘Frozen Pan’ serving ice-cream rolls, shakes, waffles and some mouth watering brownies.

For sushi lovers, Sumo Sushi and Sushi Junction were the favourite go to places. Sheesha lovers couldn’t get enough of their favourite Hookahs at Imperfecto and Taksim. We personally loved the innovative train component added by Imperfecto which was quite a creative and most importantly, acted as a breather for those hiding from the sun.

Talking about the some tasteful indian grub, places like Koyla Kebab, Iqbal’s Mughal Cuisine, Indian Saffron and Hunger Strike made it to the top of the list.

There was no dearth of alcohol as we witnessed some innovative combinations of drinks at the Banta Bar. Beer lovers could enjoy chilled beer at Willingter, Whiskey lovers could enjoy some Irish Whiskey at Jameson and shot lovers could gulp in some colourful shots at Uncle Jacks. Apart from these, WIP made a spectacular set up with a splendid bar in the middle with ample seating space for those who just wanted to sit and enjoy the lovely day.

Delhi has all sorts of people, and to cater to those who were not there for the food, there were enough entertainment options including a cricket pitch, dare to win challenge by Delhiites Magazine and a Handball game by Jameson amongst many others.

The Grub theatre was also active for all three days, as it held innumerable sessions of entrepreneurial talks with some well known entrepreneurs of Delhi who discussed their concerns about their respective industries in an interactive manner.

All in all, The Grub Fest this year was more than just food, it was for the Delhiite who wants his food, entertainment and music, all at one place.
