It was yet another glitzy night at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards where the celebrities upped the style-game making fashion statements at the awards gala. The 4-day extravaganza came finally came to an end as the best of 2015 were awarded for their talent and hard work.
STAR-STUDDED EXTRAVAGANZA
The main award night witnessed a mélange of tinsel town celebrities soaked in the colours, magic and the revelry that Bollywood exudes. Scintillating performances, humourous acts and rib-tickling anchoring by Shahid Kapoor and Farhan akhtar left everyone dipped in the celebration fervour. The list of stars who made the night rocking with their performances were Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff and many others.
Right from the opening act as Raju and Pappu aka Farhan Akhtar and Shahid Kapoor entered on their donkeys, rode around the stage on their Hero cycles, made their colleagues like Anill Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Ranvir Singh shake a leg and sing along with them — they were a riot till the very end.
Priyanka’s classic performance on her signature number Pinga from Bajirao Mastani, Deepika’s mesemerising moves on her songs from her movies, an ode to Michael Jackson by the dapper Tiger Shroff and the current favourites Athiya and Sooraj Pancholi’s act — each one was special and outstanding.
Also, Sonakshi’s sizzling performance on numbers like Hawa Hawaii was an ode to her favourite icon Sridevi. She simply left the audience wanting for more as Sridevi also won the Life Time Achievement Award at the IIFA 2017.
