She has played a pivotal role in the group’s recent success and is sure to be a name to reckon in the times to come.• When and how did you discover your inclination towards Real Estate ?
Being engaged with my dad since I was a little child, designing homes has been instilled in my DNA. I have grown up watching my dad deliver not only homes but creating a lifestyle for the residents. It was around then I developed an affinity for the real estate industry, and in 2013 joined the brand to bridge the gap with the luxury segment.

• What, according to you, has been the turning point in your career ?
Each day at Gulshan has brought with it new opportunities to achieve greater heights. Nevertheless, I believe recognition pushes you further to think beyond the risks and see your dreams come true. I think the appreciation from the board received for the new concept I brought to the table was a turning point and since then has allowed me to reinvent.• What has been the biggest challenge for you in your journey so far ?
I believe challenges are the most crucial part of any journey. The biggest challenge I feel is the feeble number of women in the real estate sector. Moreover, taking the next step towards excellence and convincing the board to transition from premium affordable homes to Uber luxury segment was one of the biggest challenges I have faced so far. It is because of these challenges have led us to innovate and upgrade the lifestyle and the living standards of our customers residing in the Gulshan properties.

• How has the pandemic impacted your business, and what measures are you taking to salvage the situation ?
The pandemic radically altered the way we used to live our lives. We had a construction phase, which further impacted the buying sentiment. However, we kept in touch with our workers and laborers to maintain a steady pace of the constriction. As a result, we managed to deliver two of our projects during the pandemic, Bellina and Gulshan Botnia, and our third commercial project Gulshan One29 is also lined up to be delivered this year. As a result, the buying sentiment has also got traction, and the sales numbers witnessed month-on-month growth.• Which factors, according to you, have been instrumental in your brand becoming one of the most preferred real estate brands in the country ?
Our core principles set us apart, and what makes us a preferred real estate brand is our belief in trust, transparency, and passion. We are always ready to go the extra mile to deliver countless excellent experiences to our end consumers. We have worked on innovative marketing strategies with the perfect amalgamation of print and digital to create awareness and performance marketing to drive footfalls and sales conversions.

• Please tell us more about your future plans.
As far as our future expansion plans are concerned, we have allied with JP and taken on two of its luxury projects, Boomerang and Crystal, spread across a 15 lakh square feet area, to ensure delivery within the next 42 months.
