The EO (Entrepreneurs Organization) Gurgaon chapter recently organized a fun filled day of Golf at the ITC Classic Golf Resort, the premier edition of their Golf Tournament and they managed to create a truly winsome experience for the participants, something to be cherished in a year without much entertainment or recreation. The participants were EO members and their guests. Beyond the pleasant day spent on the links, EO also put together a great goodie bag!
When asked to describe the day, Mr. Karan Sawhney, the president of EO Gurgaon, said “EO Gurgaon hosted its first ever golf tournament on a perfect day filled with pristine clear blue sky, light cool breeze at ITC Classic golf & resort, a course worthy of The Masters. The participants consisted of EO Gurgaon members and their guests who were super ecstatic through the entire 18 hole round. The participant’s talent, flair and enthusiasm for excellence displayed on the course made us all forget the COVID-19 pandemic for a few but fun filled hours. The fun continued beyond course with awards and recognition to the finest players of the day. The perfect 10 rated event had the participants yearning for more such events on a yearly basis. When asked to describe the day, Mr. Arjun Nijhawan said “Thrill & fun made this event a success at par- being the successor of physical events, this year, the Golf event provided a perfect ventilation between excitement and good moments. Striving to plan & execute more such events!”
The pairings were done in a way so that four-balls were well balanced and the game took an extremely competitive turn. The experience was further enhanced with a round of awards that were handed out post-tournament which were sponsored by some exceedingly prestigious names such as India Gate Basmati Rice, Breathe Easy, Emaar Hospitality, Ahuja Sons, Firestone, Kari Kari, KRBL Ltd. DBS building products pvt. Ltd. and Daawat – the finest basmati. The winner of the tournament was Mr. Siddharth Chaudhary and the runner up was Mr. Barun Aggarwal.
With such a successful first event, we can’t wait to see what else EO Gurgaon comes up with, certainly an organization that many people would strive to gain membership to.
