To celebrate 75 years of Indo-Thai diplomatic relationship, The Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi organized an event called “75th Anniversary: Weaving Indo – Thai Friendship” on 29th June 2022 afternoon at the Royal Thai Embassy.
The event focused on presenting Thai textile and craft while emphasizing on the strong social & cultural links between India and Thailand. Thai silk, woven fabric and traditional dresses from different regions of Thailand were displayed for the guests to see. 
The event also featured an insight on textiles and silk fabric from India & Thailand, by Asst. Prof. Dr. Anucha Thirakanot, Dean Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Thammasat University.The afternoon ended with a traditional Thai high tea hosted at the Thai Ambassador’s residence.
