There’s something deeply charming about Second Born a rooftop bar that understands exactly what it wants to be, and never tries too hard to impress you in the process.
The concept itself is clever without being gimmicky, inspired by sibling ingredients that naturally belong together, as well as the founders’ pet. Somehow, that warmth and playfulness translates seamlessly into the experience itself.
The cocktail menu is intentionally limited, but not once did it feel lacking because every single drink was genuinely excellent. The Milk & Yogurt was bright, refreshing, creamy in the lightest way possible, and dangerously easy to keep sipping on.

The Big Punch, meanwhile, absolutely lived up to its name — bold, layered, and strong without losing balance. The food keeps pace beautifully with the drinks; their sandos, tacos, and bar bites are exactly the kind of things you want while settling into a long evening here.
The lamb birria tacos were the undeniable standout — succulent, rich, meltingly tender, and messy in the best possible way. But the real magic of Second Born is the atmosphere: an insane sweeping view over all of GK 2’s M Block Market, a gorgeous sunset, and impossibly pleasant rooftop weather.
With comfortable seating, music that never overpowers conversation, and an energy that feels relaxed instead of performative, it’s stylish without the exhausting pretentiousness so many bars lean into these days. The staff are so warm and friendly that within minutes you feel less like a customer and more like a regular. Everything here works together; nothing feels forced or out of place. Just solid drinks, genuinely good food, and beautiful views. It has officially become our new go-to for dates, friend hangs, and anytime we want a banging cocktail with one of the best rooftop vibes in the city.
