A uniquely intriguing restaurant, with sumptuous interiors, cutting-edge art and a view that is hard to beat makes bougie the best choice for a perfectly luxurious winter lunch.

we began our afternoon with two cocktails from the signature bougie menu. Serenity, a gin-based drink infused with basil and green pea cordial and Ombre Beach, with a roasted pineapple slice, clove tincture, gin and tonic.

To accompany our drinks, we ordered the Avocado Bhel with Quinoa Marshmallow, served with Mango Sorbet and Jalapeno Powder which was perfectly crunchy, crispy and tangy.
We followed that with a Miso Kashundi Betki, pickled Fennel Chutney and Kadambittu that completely reinvents the way this fish is usually consumed.

What followed was a feast of modern Indian food that awakened the senses and delights with nostalgic flavours, presented with modern twists.
The Bougie Butter Poulet which sounded like a solid, substantial dish with typical north Indian flavours. was more delicate and stunning than could be expected.

The sweet Finale was served in the form a classic French toast and a new take on a Ras Malai.
The French toast is a whopping, huge slice of Sourdough soaked in sweet goodness and covered in a Chocolate, Hazelnut sauce with toasted Hazelnuts for garnishing. The Ras Malai Tres Leches is a sweet cake, covered in cardamom powder and little beads of mango sorbet that bursts in the mouth with all the yumminess of a condensed milk reduction.
